100th Anniversary
Thank You for Helping Us Celebrate 100 Years!
We’re glad that so many of you were able to join us in celebrating our 100th Anniversary on May 8th. It was certainly a night to remember.
The evening kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey, followed by a gift presentation to Tim Markel. Also on hand to mark the occasion with a brief address were Peter Miles, Vice President of Sales and Bob Kimball, Vice President of Dealer Development for BMW North America, as well as regional BMW representatives.
Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres from Wine 121 and music by local group “Big Bang” as they toured the new showrooms, complete with 100th Anniversary ice sculptures and enormous displays designed especially for the occasion.
Capping off the evening was a spectacular 15-minute fireworks display. Finally, to commemorate the special evening, guests were given Markel 100th Anniversary gift boxes filled with BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar and MINI gear.
